Job summary

INFRO is building the financial layer where data modelling, pricing and product meet. The role will extend pricing models, add per-provider rates, cache reads/writes and unpriced traffic, and build budgeting features to show who spent what and why.

You will integrate provider cost and usage APIs, report variances between estimates and invoices, and create explainable anomaly detection and forecasting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend or data-intensive product engineering.
• Strong SQL and money modelling (integers, rounding, avoid floats).
• Comfort with TypeScript and reading billing/usage APIs.
• Care for correctness and for explaining numbers to stakeholders.

Job description

Customers pay their AI providers directly. INFRO estimates what each request will cost on the customer's own rates, attributes it to a project, key, team or workflow, enforces budgets before a request is sent, and reconciles the estimate against what the provider actually billed.

You will build that financial layer. The work sits where data modelling, pricing and product meet, and correctness matters more than cleverness.

What you will do

• Extend the pricing model: negotiated per-provider rates, cache reads and writes, per-unit media pricing and unpriced traffic.
• Build attribution and budget features that let a finance lead answer who spent what, on which provider, and why it changed.
• Integrate provider cost and usage APIs and report the variance between estimate and invoice.
• Build anomaly detection and forecasting that are explained, not guessed.

What you will bring

• 3+ years of backend or data-intensive product engineering.
• Strong SQL and experience modelling money: integer units, rounding, and never summing floats.
• Comfort with TypeScript and with reading third-party billing and usage APIs.
• Care for correctness and for explaining a number to the person who has to trust it.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud cost management, FinOps or usage-based billing systems.
• Knowledge of LLM pricing structures across providers.
• Time-series analytics or a columnar store such as ClickHouse.
