Job summary

CoreWeave in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Applications Engineer to build features for UNION and internal tools across TypeScript/React, Next.js, and Python on Kubernetes. You will deliver a scoped piece end-to-end with tests and post-release fixes, working closely with a senior engineer who owns the wider area.

You will collaborate with engineering, data infrastructure, and operations teams, contributing to AI-facing interfaces and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

2+ years building production software.
Backend development in Python preferred and frontend with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with React or Next.js.
Experience building or consuming HTTP APIs in production.
SQL knowledge with joins and aggregations.
Exposure to AI and LLM development is a plus.
Familiar with version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

Ship features in UNION and internal applications.
Work across the stack: TypeScript/React in the browser, Python services on Kubernetes.
Deliver one scoped piece at a time to production with tests and post-release fixes.
Collaborate with engineers, data center operations, and other teams.
Engage directly with users to iterate on the product.
