Job summary

Alta Ares is seeking a software engineer for its US presence in New York City. The role focuses on contributing to the core software stack, including real-time AI inference, computer vision pipelines, and embedded components.

You will write production-grade code in Python and/or C++ and participate in cross-border coordination with the Paris team. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of experience, a CS-related degree, and a strong interest in AI, CV, and real-time systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Strong Python and/or C++ coding skills.
• Fluency in English and French required.
• Interest in AI, computer vision, real-time systems, or embedded software.
• VIE eligibility: French or EU nationality; 18–28 at start.

Responsibilities

• Develop core software stack including real-time AI inference and CV pipelines.
• Write clean, tested production code in Python and/or C++.
• Coordinate with Paris Engineering on roadmap and specs.
• Provide US market technical support and client demonstrations.
