Google seeks a software engineer for the Distributed Runtime Trust team to secure agent identities across environments. You will work on client runtimes and backend services to provision, govern, and attest identities in GCP and other environments. This role requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
Responsibilities include building scalable infrastructure, designing trust-enabled systems, and enabling the Agent Cloud ecosystem across distributed enterprise environments.

As a Software Engineer on the Distributed Runtime Trust (DRT) team, you will have the opportunity of building the next generation, foundational infrastructure necessary to secure agent interactions across different environments. This is an emerging space with high customer impact and demand. You will work on both client-side runtimes and backend orchestration services to provision, govern, and attest agent identities across GCP and non-GCP environments. Your work will directly enable governed access between agents, tools, and services, acting as a critical catalyst to scale the agent ecosystem for Google Cloud. This position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
