Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 3 in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, to develop, maintain, and enhance sophisticated software systems in a Linux environment.

The role requires Python and C++ expertise, DSP/RF experience, and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
• Twelve (12) years' experience as a DSP Algorithm developer.
• Twelve (12) years' experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure work follows the process.
