Job summary

Avid Technology Professionals is seeking a developer for a high-priority malware analysis modernization program in Maryland. The role involves developing new capabilities to support a virtual malware containment enclave and modernizing malware enrichment services.

The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in software engineering and a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Candidates with extensive experience may substitute additional years for formal education.

Qualifications

• 20 years experience as a Software Engineer in programs of similar complexity.
• Ability to substitute 4 years of additional SWE experience for a bachelor's degree.

Job description

The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the virtual malware containment enclave. The individual will also support the modernization of malware enrichment services.

Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
