At Atlassian, a Seattle‑based Grad++ program seeks students graduating Aug 2027 to join a fast‑moving engineering team. You will develop scalable features for Jira, Confluence, and Trello, own projects end‑to‑end, and collaborate across disciplines in an Agile environment.

You’ll gain hands‑on training in AI/ML concepts, work with modern frameworks, and contribute to AI‑assisted development while tackling distributed systems challenges and data processing at scale.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full time in a Bachelor's or Masters degree program in Computer Science or related technical field and graduating by August 2027.
• Experience with Python, Java, or other modern object oriented languages, with exposure to AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, or AI-powered applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, statistical concepts, and familiarity with design patterns for modern systems including AI/ML architectural patterns.

In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $122,400 - $159,800

Zone B: $110,160 - $143,820

Zone C: $101,592 - $132,634

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled full time in a Bachelor's or Masters degree program in Computer Science or related technical field and are graduating by August 2027.

Programming & AI/ML Proficiency: Experience with Python, Java, or other modern object oriented languages, with exposure to AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and understanding of machine learning fundamentals

Software Engineering Experience: Proven development skills through internships, work experience, projects, or publications, including experience with APIs, cloud platforms, or AI-powered applications

Data & System Design: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, statistical concepts, and familiarity with design patterns for modern systems including AI/ML architectural patterns (data pipelines, model serving, microservices)

Preferred Qualifications

Emerging AI Technologies: Exposure to agentic AI systems, autonomous agents, modern AI protocols (MCP, function calling), and AI-assisted development approaches
