Job summary

Intuit, Inc. in Mountain View is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Builders team. You will help expand our Mid-Market and Enterprise footprint by delivering high-quality web or mobile software and applying AI-enabled approaches.

Responsibilities include 80-95% hands-on coding, design reviews, debugging across QA, pre-production, and production, and partnering with product, QA/QE, and business units to drive results. Agile, SCRUM and XP experience is valued.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
• Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.
• Experience with OO languages: Java/J2EE, C#, VB.NET, Python, or C++.
• Understanding of SDLC and web services (REST or SOAP).
• Understanding of unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Self-starter attitude and ability to make decisions independently.
• Willingness to own problems and learn continuously.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Strong partnership skills with cross-functional teams.

Come join the Intuit Enterprise Builders team as a Senior Software Engineer. As Intuit expands its footprint in the Mid-Market and Enterprise segment, you will be part of the group enabling the product to be able to expand into various industries by leveraging AI and relevant technology frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Successful delivery of high quality web or mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
• Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
• Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
• Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
• Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
• Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
• Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
• Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications
• Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
• Experience with any of the following Object Oriented Languages (OOD): Java/J2EE, C#, VB.NET, Python, or sometimes C++
• An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• An understanding and preferable experience with web services (REST or SOAP)
• An understanding of unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
• 'Self-starter'' attitude and ability to make decisions independently

The expected base pay range for this position is: Mountain View $140,500 - $190,000.
