Job summary

U.S. Bank in Minnesota seeks a software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure applications.

You will own production-ready code, participate in code reviews, and ensure reliability and performance across distributed systems. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3–5 years of experience in full-stack development with Vue.js, .NET, Java, React.js, REST/SOAP, and SQL.

Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products, taking ownership of production-ready, testable code and ensuring scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performing systems. Analyze failures, improve operations, conduct code reviews, follow compliance and security standards, and collaborate across teams to deliver incremental improvements.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and three to five years of relevant experience are required. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with distributed systems, Java and .NET SDKs, Vue.js or React.js, REST and SOAP APIs, SQL, asynchronous programming, modern programming styles, source control, and unit and functional testing.
