This role is pivotal for enhancing the productivity, security, and reliability of engineering teams by building and maintaining the underlying infrastructure that powers software development. The Software Engineer will focus on CI/CD systems, local development environments, and tools that streamline workflows while ensuring high-quality, secure software delivery. Accountabilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and development tools to enhance engineering productivity.
• Set up and improve local development environments for engineers to streamline workflow and reduce friction.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to identify needs and implement solutions that improve reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to planning, code reviews, standups, and other software development lifecycle activities.
• Deliver complex infrastructure projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, security, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance and support to engineers on infrastructure best practices and workflow optimization.
• Actively participate in internal initiatives to improve developer experience and support cybersecurity objectives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer building backend systems or platform infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience with Python.
• Proven experience in roles focused on Engineering Effectiveness, Developer Productivity, or Development Infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver complex projects from conception to production.
• Customer-focused mindset with experience gathering requirements and feedback from internal engineering teams.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, development tooling, and automated workflows is highly desirable.
• Nice-to-have: experience with Bazel, Go, and security-focused systems.
