Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to develop and maintain data workflows using Apache Airflow. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable, and observable pipelines that support data engineering, analytics, and operations.

You will work closely with data engineers, platform teams, and stakeholders to ensure security and production readiness. The team values automation, Linux tooling, and cloud services, with direct-hire opportunities and a strong compensation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data workflows and automation pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Design reliable, scalable, and observable workflow orchestration solutions for data engineering, analytics, and operational use cases.
• Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and stakeholders to ensure workflows are efficient, secure, and production ready.
