• Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions including document ingestion and embeddings.

• Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Strongproficiencyin Java, Python, or similar object-oriented programming languages withexperiencedevelopingenterpriseapplications.
• Hands-onexperiencebuilding RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and cloud-native solutions .
• Expertisewith Microsoft Azure ,includingdevelopment,deployment,andoperationalsupportofcloud-basedapplications.
• Experiencedesigningandsupporting RAG architectures ,includingdocumentprocessing,chunkingstrategies,embeddings,vectorsearch,andpromptoptimization.
• Knowledgeof Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI technologies, and enterprise AI solution patterns .
• Strongunderstandingof DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Infrastructure as Code and automated testing frameworks .
• Experiencewith Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or comparable AI frameworks and services .
• Knowledge of vector databases, enterprise search platforms, AI security model governance, responsible AI practices, and enterprise software delivery .

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00
