Job summary

Job Description

Contributing to the development of AI-enabled product features and workflows. Building and maintaining software components that integrate AI capabilities into applications. Assisting in the implementation of LLM-, agent-, or machine learning-based solutions under guidance from senior engineers. Participating in testing, evaluation, and monitoring of AI-powered features. Working with product and engineering teams to implement requirements and deliver functionality. Troubleshooting defects and performance issues in AI-enabled applications. Learning and applying engineering best practices for production-quality software development. Contributing to technical discussions and team design reviews. Supporting continuous improvement of AI capabilities across products. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of software engineering experience or equivalent internship/co-op experience. Programming experience in Python or similar languages. Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, and system design concepts. Exposure to AI, machine learning, LLMs, or agent-based systems through coursework, personal projects, or professional experience. Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern development practices. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Compensation

Virginia Pay Range: $101,875.02 - $152,812.53 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
