Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, develop, and validate software for our embedded systems. The role emphasizes robust C++ development, use of Visual Studio, WindRiver, and VectorCast for code coverage in a structured, standards-driven environment.

The candidate will deploy and troubleshoot software in embedded contexts, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and adhere to defined development processes while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of exempt experience
• Master’s Degree with 0 year of experience
• Experience in C++ development environments and tools such as Visual Studio
• Experience with compilers such as WindRiver and code coverage tools like VectorCast
• Experience with deployment and troubleshooting of software for an embedded system
• Comfortable with and adaptable to the use of customized, proprietary development environments and toolsets
• Strong planning, execution, and communication skills
