Job summary

GRVTY is seeking experienced Software Engineers with backend Java expertise to build scalable REST APIs and services in Linux/Unix environments. Candidates should have a strong foundation in Java/JVM, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and relational databases, with a track record in Agile teams and code reviews.

We value experience in distributed systems, API design, CI/CD, automated testing, and TDD, plus DevOps exposure to AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend Java development (14+ years overall).
• Strong Java/JVM, REST APIs, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, relational database, Git, and Linux/Unix skills.
• Agile team experience including code reviews, debugging, problem solving and technical collaboration.
• Backend architecture, distributed systems, API design, CI/CD, automated testing, TDD, NoSQL, or frontend exposure.
• DevOps experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or scripting.
• Experience supporting fast-paced, complex client solutions and interest in long-term growth.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
