Job summary

Interview Kickstart is a fully remote company that helps candidates nail tough tech interviews. We hire globally, with a preference for candidates based in India or seeking to relocate there, to build out a high-impact engineering team.

As a developer at IK, you will work on developing large features, designing new APIs, fixing on-call bugs, and writing tests for APIs. If you have front-end interest, you will contribute to NextJS and jQuery work as part of a modern AI-first tech stack.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of full-time experience in Python and Django/Django REST framework (DRF).
• Good understanding of MySQL, Git, and GitHub/GitLab.
• Good debugging and online searching skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills. (Ability to solve easy data structures and algorithms problems).

Responsibilities

• You will be closely working with a team of other experienced developers and doing pretty much everything, from developing large features to fixing on-call bugs.
• You will be designing and developing new APIs, optimizing/fixing bugs in the existing APIs, and writing tests for the APIs.
• If there are any on-call bugs, resolving them will be your first priority. And then, you will continue working on the feature development planned for the sprint.
• Additionally, if you have experience/interest in front-end development, you will be contributing to front-end development in NextJS and jQuery.
