Job summary

SteerBridge, Inc. in Vienna, VA is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support the Modern Disability Claims modernization program.

You will contribute to next-generation claims analytics, full-stack TypeScript apps, and cloud-enabled solutions that advance mission-critical objectives. Qualifications include 4-6 years in full-stack development, React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, MERN/PERN experience, and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance; an active Secret or Top Secret clearance also satisfies this requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with MERN or PERN stack technologies, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software-development practices.
• Familiarity with Docker and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Position Overview
