Job summary

Leidos, Inc. is looking for a full-time Software Engineer to support the Command and Control Incident Management Emergency Response Application (C2IMERA) program. To support the Command and Control Incident Management Emergency Response Application (C2IMERA) program, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug mission-critical software for the US Air Force, with the flexibility for remote work while preferring candidates who can occasionally be onsite in Morgantown, WV.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop software using modern programming languages, primarily Java and C++
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and collaborate using Agile tools like Jira and Bitbucket
• Develop maintainable code and automated tests while ensuring documentation and specifications are up to date

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree
• Active Secret clearance or higher, with the ability to maintain it during employment
• Hands‑on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks, such as React
• Strong desire to learn new programming languages, tools, and techniques
