You will bring 5+ years of Java experience, hands-on Spring, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and relational database expertise, and a track record of mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Over five years of Java application development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, Maven, and Tomcat.
• Proficient with SQL and relational databases; 3+ years in SQL.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes in cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and work in a cross-functional team.
• Legal right to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop new applications on an existing enterprise platform with high quality and scalability.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure from scratch following DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and QA to deliver value to customers.
• Contribute across backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers for robust systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews and technical documentation creation.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to keep the platform at the forefront.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess over five years of experience in Java application development, preferably within enterprise cloud software or high-growth technology companies. You should demonstrate a strong ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code within collaborative team settings. Hands-on experience with open-source technologies such as Spring, MySQL, Hibernate, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Mockito, Tomcat, Linux, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential. Additionally, candidates must have a proven track record of working with relational databases and mastery of SQL, with at least three years of relevant experience. Strong mentorship skills and a commitment to team development are highly valued.
