Working from broad specifications, the engineer not only performs, but is responsible for guiding engineering activities.As a Software & HIL Test engineer, you will support a team that develops and validates drive systems for future electric and hybrid vehicles as well as other electric drives in motor vehicles. The engineer will work independently to perform a variety of basic engineering assignments with varied responsibility but may require some guidance and direction from a senior engineer/mentor or manager. **\\*\\*\\*\\*This role does not include visa sponsorship\\*\\*\\*\\* Open to Intermediate and Senior level engineers** As an Intermediate level engineer, the engineer will work independently with limited supervision to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using knowledge and judgement to make adaptations and modifications. As a Senior Engineer, the engineer will independently perform a wide variety of complex/advanced engineering work to include planning, designing, and carrying out work assignments, often serving as a technical authority of the department with little to no supervision.
