This role combines hands‑on engineering with technical leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement of our agile practices. Ideal candidates have strong full‑stack experience (C#, .NET, Angular), cloud exposure (Azure), and a track record of delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions in agile environments.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $62 - $72 / hr. W2

Responsibilities
  • End-to-end development: design, build, test, and implement business software applications and services.
  • Define, refine, and deliver new features; collaborate with team to break down complex problems and implement solutions spanning multiple system layers (UI, API, services, data, integrations).
  • Evaluate enhancement requests; create unit and/or UI tests to validate functionality and prevent regressions.
  • Own production readiness and operations: configure monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, reliability, and incident response to improve user experience.
  • Conduct and contribute to code reviews; champion coding standards, secure coding, and best‑practice implementation patterns.
  • Analyze and improve scrum processes; participate in ceremonies, drive actionable outcomes from retrospectives, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and support teammates; promote career growth, knowledge sharing, and a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand business needs; model systems flow, data usage, and work processes to design effective solutions.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems and platforms.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, playbooks, and architectural diagrams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Infrastructure as Code (especially Pulumi) and pipeline automation.
  • Observability: Datadog logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, SLOs.
  • Insurance or financial services domain knowledge.
Skills
  • Solid understanding of software application architecture and engineering techniques.
  • Strong object‑oriented programming and design patterns; familiarity with SOLID principles and clean architecture.
  • Proficient with Git-based workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Proficient with Visual Studio and/or VS Code.
  • Proficient with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub (Repos, Pipelines/Actions, Boards/Issues, Packages).
  • Strong problem solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication; ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite for documentation and collaboration.
