Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an experienced software engineer to implement end-to-end features across backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend UI. You will work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams in a global setting.

The role requires strong Python skills, Bash/Linux scripting, SQL proficiency, and REST API experience. You will participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and production support while pursuing robust, secure software solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 3+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong full-stack development skills across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, deployment, and system integration.
• Strong Python programming and practical Bash/Linux shell scripting experience.
• Solid SQL and relational database skills: schema design, efficient queries, indexes, and basic execution-plan/query optimization knowledge.
• Experience developing/consuming REST APIs; familiarity with OAuth, JWT, SSO, RBAC, and secure API design.
• Working knowledge of Git, code review, testing, documentation, CI/CD, Linux deployment, logs, processes, basic networking, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently execute assigned development tasks within an existing architecture, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

The expected salary range for this position is between $70K - $100K annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
