Job summary

Advantage Technical seeks a Software Engineer - Infotainment Systems for a contract role in Raymond, OH. The position focuses on development, testing, and integration of in-vehicle infotainment technology, including Bluetooth, CarPlay, and Android Auto.

You will work with automotive systems, perform validation, and document requirements while coordinating multiple projects to meet schedule and quality goals. Onsite 5 days per week, salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with software development, systems engineering, infotainment technology, validation testing, or requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers, software developers, and engineering teams to define requirements, track project milestones, and ensure successful product delivery.

• Investigate root causes of technical issues and drive resolution with cross-functional teams.

Software Engineer

Location: Raymond, OH

Contract Opportunity | Onsite 5 Days per Week

We are seeking a Software Engineer - Infotainment Systems to support the development, testing, and integration of next-generation in-vehicle infotainment technology. This temporary role is ideal for candidates with experience in automotive infotainment, systems engineering, software validation, requirements management, or embedded software development.

Job Duties

• Support the development and testing of infotainment systems, including Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice recognition, and connected vehicle features.
• Collaborate with suppliers, software developers, and engineering teams to define requirements, track project milestones, and ensure successful product delivery.
• Perform hands-on testing, validation, troubleshooting, and analysis of software and system functionality.
• Develop technical specifications, requirements documentation, reports, and project status updates.
• Investigate root causes of technical issues and drive resolution with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with collaboration tools, Microsoft Office, ERP/project management platforms, and technical documentation.
• Valid Ohio driver's license required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working in laboratory, testing, and office environments.
