Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer for our Banking and Commercial Lending Tech team in Plano, TX. You will build scalable backend services in Java/J2EE with Spring Boot and craft dynamic front-ends using Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, or React, all hosted on AWS.

You’ll operate in an Agile environment, drive code quality, and contribute to high-impact, customer-focused applications leveraging modern cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong backend development experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on front-end expertise with Vue.js, Angular, or React.
• Advanced UI development using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java & J2EE applications.
• Build high-performance microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build Event, Domain, CQRS driven designed Applications.
• Develop dynamic front-end applications with Next.js, Vue.js, NUXT, PrimeVue, SSR, AWS. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in TypeScript.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Work in an agile team, contributing to code reviews, testing, and best practices.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong backend development experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on front‑end expertise with any of these frameworks Vue.js, Angular, or React (advanced proficiency in at least one framework required).
• Advanced UI development skills using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS cloud environments.

Added Bonus If You Have

• AWS Associate or Professional Certifications.
• Experience with modern UI component frameworks such as Next.js or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database design and data modeling principles.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performance application architectures.
• Proven ability to develop and optimize multithreaded and concurrent processing solutions.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered developer tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to enhance productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
