Job summary

NICO National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications. The role requires strong .NET, C#, ASP.NET and VB.NET skills, with Azure and SQL experience. This is a hybrid position with 50% in-office work in Omaha, NE.

You will contribute to rating and issuance programs, provide troubleshooting support, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• 3–5+ years of .NET experience (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET).
• Azure experience and SQL experience.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 3-5 years of .NET experience (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, etc.) including:
  • Coding Best Practices
  • Azure experience
  • Experience functioning as a developer in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • SQL experience
