Vosper Thornycroft Group is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance software for mission-critical national security initiatives. You will work across full-stack development with C, C++, and Python, and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

As a Software Engineer supporting mission-essential national security initiatives, you will design, develop, integrate, and maintain secure, high-performance software solutions that enable critical intelligence, defense, and operational missions. Working alongside engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders, you will build scalable applications and services that directly support the protection of U.S. national security interests.
The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience using C, C++, and Python, along with hands-on experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies. This individual will collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineers to develop, integrate, test, and maintain scalable, highly available mission systems.
This role is based in Hanover, Maryland.

VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $140K-$160K annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
