Job summary

Blossom Health in New York City is seeking engineers to design and build scalable systems powering our AI-native care platform for clinicians and patients. You’ll own features end-to-end, from problem framing to deployment, and ship high-quality code that balances speed with rigor.

You’ll work with a cross-functional team across product, engineering, and operations, leverage cutting-edge AI, and contribute to performance, observability, and reliability as our user base grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in high-quality environments
• Proficient in TypeScript and/or Python; experience with LLM-powered apps preferred
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and in-person in NYC 5 days a week

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reliable systems powering core product workflows
• Own features and projects end-to-end, from understanding the problem through implementation, deployment, and iteration
• Ship high-quality code that balances speed and technical rigor
• Build with reliability, observability, and performance in mind as our product and patient base scale
• Leverage cutting-edge AI to create intuitive and novel clinician and patient experiences
• Collaborate closely with engineers, clinicians, and the broader team to turn complex healthcare problems into simple, effective products

• Are fluent in TypeScript and/or Python (experience with LLM-powered apps preferred)

• Are comfortable with traversing the software stack and picking up the latest technologies to drive technical outcomes
