We are seeking a Software Engineer to drive end-to-end design, implement features, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering to ship high-quality software with a strong technical foundation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer with a strong codebase track record.
• Experience with AI-forward development practices and responsible SDLC.
• Familiarity with Go or other strongly-typed backend languages; knowledge of distributed systems is a plus.
• Experience with LLMs, agents, or agentic systems and concurrent/async processing.
• Solid software design understanding (SOLID or equivalent) and know-how to apply it.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems and ship well-reasoned designs with minimal hand-holding.
• Testing, monitoring, and reliability integrated into development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end design and implementation of product requirements, including task breakdown, delivery, testing, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Write simple, elegant, high-quality code that others can understand and reuse.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate specs into deliverables.
• Influence platform direction with your ideas and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Run the full software development lifecycle from problem definition to production support.
• Balance immediate objectives with long-term architectural vision.

What you’ll do:

Drive end-to-end design and implementation of product requirements including task break-down, delivery, testing, monitoring, and maintenance.

Consistently generate simple and elegant designs, and write high-quality code that can be easily understood and leveraged by others.

Collaborate closely with product, design, and the rest of engineering to turn feature/product specs into reality.

Influence the features and direction of the platform with your own ideas and proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes.

Run the full software development lifecycle - problem definition, design, development, testing, demoing and supporting production use of the features you own.

Balance immediate business objectives against long-term architectural vision.

What we look for:

Must have:

• 2+ years industry experience as a Software Engineer
• Fluency in an AI-forward SDLC - using LLMs/agents to move fast without sacrificing production-grade quality
• Experience with one or more of:
• Go (or comparable strongly-typed backend language)
• Distributed systems / infra & scaling
• LLM harnesses / agentic systems
• Concurrent or async processing
• Strong fundamentals in software design principles (SOLID or equivalent) and knowing when to apply them
• High degree of autonomy - comfortable taking an ambiguous problem to a well-reasoned design and shipped solution with minimal hand-holding
• Testing, monitoring, and reliability aren't a separate step - they're built into how you write code
• Comfortable owning a feature end-to-end, front-to-back, when the problem calls for it
