Job summary

Arcadia, a fast-growing startup building creator tools in NYC, seeks a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale core product features on a modern TypeScript stack. You’ll own features end to end, from architecture and backend APIs to polished UI.

This role is onsite in Lower Manhattan, with collaboration across founders, product, design, and AI teammates to ship fast and make an impact.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong frontend architecture and component-driven development.
• Experience with Node.js or Python for backend APIs.
• Strong systems design experience: scalable services, data models, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js
• Architect scalable backend services, APIs, and data models for creator workflows
• Make system design decisions around performance, reliability, and scale
• Build responsive, polished UI components with a sharp eye for UX
• Integrate AI-powered functionality and third-party services into the platform
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and take part in code reviews
• Keep improving performance, usability, and developer workflows

Job description

A fast-growing startup building creator tools is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale core product features on a modern TypeScript stack. You'll own features end to end, from system architecture and backend APIs to polished UI. You'll work directly with founders, product, design, and AI teammates.

This is a great fit for engineers with 2-5 years of experience who think in systems, care about the product, and like to ship fast without cutting corners.

Onsite in Lower Manhattan, NYC

Must-Haves

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React (Next.js a big plus)
• Experience building backend services and APIs with Node.js or Python
• Strong systems design experience: architecting scalable services, data models, and APIs, and making smart tradeoffs as a product grows

• Prior startup experience
