Job Description

Requirement:

Title: Senior Software Systems Engineer

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 6 Months

Finance Data lake is a strategic enterprise initiative to centralize all ERP, supply chain data into Hadoop big data platform and enable reporting, analytics and self service discovery capabilities.

Consultant should have extensive experience in PeopleSoft ERP functional knowledge, data structure and transactional relationships between the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Asset Management, Sourcing , Labor and time modules.
Experience in building PS queries, delivering complex analytics, metrics, reporting to provide ever changing business requirements, needs.
Experience & expertise in automated testing & reconciliation reporting efforts is desirable.
Responsible for working with the Financial Data Lake Team, Business users on requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing and coordination of UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Responsible for Evaluating FDL related objects , analyzing the business processes , identification, documentation the solutions related project tasks , activities , identifying the issues and provide timely resolutions.
Experienced in Agile processes Jira, requirements analysis, design, development, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Experienced in planning, scheduling, and conducting gap analysis sessions for analytics, metrics and reports at enterprise level.
Advanced proficiency in SQL ,Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analytics and presentation.
Strong analytical, investigative, problem solving verbal and communication skills.
Proven ability to work under pressure, on multiple assignments , with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others to further develop individual and team skills.
Good to have working knowledge of Hadoop big data reporting and analytical tools ( Hadoop , Hive , Spark ,Tableau, Excel) with the ability to perform in-depth analysis of large datasets to identify the root causes of issues and resolutions.
