Job description

Squadware Inc is hiring a Software Engineer for a consulting position with one of our clients on the north side of Indianapolis. This role is full time and can be a 1099 contract or w-2 position. This is an on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana. Remote work is not an option. If you do not currently reside in the Indianapolis area or are not willing to relocate please do not apply.

The Software Engineer is a full-stack development position with required skills in C# and ASP.Net MVC or Blazor. On the back-end logic experience with Entity Framework, Web APIs, SQL Server and Oracle would be advantageous.

Please also note that the last round of interviews must occur on site in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhance existing features of the product in C# backend APIs and also in a front-end ASP.Net MVC or Blazor Web Applications and .Net Desktop application as well.
• Work with other team members to perform code reviews.
• Work with project management to understand requirements and create technical documentation as needed.
• Provide status updates and track issues.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of overall software development experience.
• 5+ years of C#
• 1+ years of ASP.Net MVC or similar framework preferred. Blazor experience is a plus.
• 2+ years of Entity Framework
• 2+ years of database schema design
