Purpose Financial, Inc. in Greenville, SC, is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our innovative team. You will translate requirements into quality code and contribute to software projects in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on development experience, familiarity with frontend frameworks, Java/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and cloud services (AWS). You will collaborate across teams to deliver reliable financial solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in a professional environment.
• 3+ years experience with frontend frameworks (Vue, React, Angular).
• 2+ years of Java development, preferably with Spring Boot.
• 2+ years experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• 1+ years working with cloud services — AWS is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications following established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement features and resolve bugs, demonstrating our 'Get Sh*T done' principle.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation to support the development lifecycles.
• Work within cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and contribute to solutions that 'Obsess over Customers'.
• Learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to continuously improve your technical skills.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning and estimation.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of existing systems and applications.
