Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software across front-end and back-end using .NET, Python, and Git. Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services using modern technologies, including .NET, Python, and Git.
Develop and support both front-end and back-end applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Work directly with end users to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Design, implement, and maintain SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers, with a focus on performance and scalability.
Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs and webhooks.
Document application logic, technical designs, and implementation details.
Follow secure coding practices and organizational development standards.
Independently manage assigned projects, work items, and commitments.
Continuously develop technical skills and stay current with modern development practices.
Proven experience in a Software Engineer/Developer role with both front-end and back-end development experience.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, ideally .NET/C# and/or Python.
Strong SQL development experience in a production environment.
Experience working with REST APIs and webhooks.
Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work directly with business/end users.
Demonstrated accountability and ownership of assigned work.
Experience with modern application architecture and system integrations.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from requirements through delivery.
