Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer (Level 2) for a contingent position supporting Space Systems in Cape Canaveral, FL.

The role focuses on full stack or front-end web development with strong Oracle database experience and familiarity with Agile tools. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience (or a Master’s with 0–3 years) and must hold or be able to obtain a Full Secret clearance (Top Secret obtainable).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience or Master’s with 0–3 years.
• Full stack or front-end web development experience (HTML, CSS, JS, PL/SQL).
• Experience with Oracle development including packages, procedures, triggers, functions, and indexes, plus front-end development using Oracle Forms or APEX.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Agile Development and Jira.
• Clearance: Full Secret to start, with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• ECI access required.

Location: Cape Canaveral, FL 32920

Duration / Dates: 11/9/2026 – 10/29/2027 (Approx. 1 Year)

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week (5/40 - 1st Shift; Exempt / No OT)

Pay Rate Range: $55.00 – $70.00 Hourly

Security Clearance: Full Secret Clearance required to start (with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret)

Desired Skills

• Recognized CompTIA Security+ certification.
