Job summary

Qualifications

Job Overview

This role is essential for designing, implementing, and deploying scalable software solutions that meet customer requirements and support high availability environments. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams to develop software components using technologies such as virtualization, microservices, software-defined networking, network functions virtualization, and big. This position requires independent development of full software stacks and understanding system protocols, data flows, and technology interactions. Success is measured by the ability to deliver technical solutions, produce clear documentation, and contribute to technology strategy and innovation. The work impacts the organization by enabling advanced software systems that improve operational efficiency and support business goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on retail-facing systems
• Build and maintain back-end retail applications using Java, including RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and integration with enterprise systems
• Develop responsive, modern front-end experiences using JavaScript frameworks including React, React Native, and AngularDevelop software solutions that support engineering projects and meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective technical solutions and continuously learn new technologies
• Create clear documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements
• Contribute to technology strategy by understanding current technologies and supporting business goals
• Present innovative ideas to improve systems, processes, or services based on industry research
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Required Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience
  OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience
  OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
• 2-4 years Technical engineering experience. (Required)

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $106,375 - $191,820National Base Pay Range: $92,500 - $166,800

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity. The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
