The Company:

Our client is a well-funded, seed-stage start-up aiming to transform the cross-border payments space. With a mission to modernize how money moves globally, they’re building the foundational infrastructure for faster, more efficient transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs to support high-throughput payment processing
• Contribute across the stack as needed, with a focus on backend services and architecture
• Collaborate with the founding team to define and evolve engineering best practices
• Work closely with product and design to turn complex problems into elegant solutions
• Help shape a modern codebase using tools like TypeScript, NestJS/Node, React, Postgres, AWS, and Docker
• Prioritize reliability, security, and performance from day one

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience building robust backend or full stack systems in a production environment
• High Energy individual
• Solid understanding of API design, system architecture, and performance optimization
• Comfortable contributing to frontend codebases using React, even if backend is your focus
• Startup or fintech/payments experience is a plus
• Motivated self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, ownership-driven environments
