Insight Global in the Dayton, Ohio area seeks a Software Engineer to modernize a large intelligence database and build tools for analysts. You will develop a modern web-based application using React and TypeScript, with heavy frontend work (about 60%).

You will also develop and integrate Java-based backend services and support database modernization, migrating from Oracle to MongoDB/NoSQL, with potential for other databases. Onsite five days/week; TS/SCI clearance required.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Strong experience with React/TypeScript.

This individual will develop and enhance software tools used by analysts to build, manage, and access intelligence models and data. The role will focus heavily on building a modern web-based application, with approximately 60% of the development centered around frontend technologies including React and TypeScript, while also developing and integrating Java-based backend services. This engineer will also support database modernization efforts, including the transition from Oracle to MongoDB/NoSQL, with the potential for other databases in the future. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and be willing to work onsite five days per week.
