Job summary

CESO is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The role emphasizes internal automation, system integrations, and AI‑enabled workflows within a growing AEC environment.

You will collaborate with IT, data, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure applications and contribute to enterprise tools while ensuring alignment with coding standards and data security practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Architecture, or Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in software or automation development in an enterprise or AEC environment is required.
  • Proven experience developing Autodesk plugins is preferred.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: C#, Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js, REST APIs, or SQL.
  • Experience with AI or cloud‑based workflows using Azure AI, AWS AI Services, or equivalent technologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud data storage environments such as Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3, or data lakes is advantageous.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Dynamo is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications from Microsoft, GitHub, AutoDesk, or similar platforms are preferred.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have relevant software application certifications and/or advanced training.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and technologies.
  • Ability to implement complex system design activities.
  • Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.

  • Support enterprise application lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Support data flow and interoperability between core business systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
