We bring 120 years of successful mission support to improve security, streamline logistics, and enhance readiness. Aligned around a shared purpose, our $3.9B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.

As a part of the V2X Ground-Based Radar Development (GBRD) team, we are a part of an exciting opportunity to design and field a Common Radar Back End supporting UEWR, PARCS, COBRA DANE, and AN/FPS 85 radar sites.

Responsibilities

Description:

  • Design, develop, integrate, test, document, and sustain software components and platform services for distributed, mission-critical systems.
  • Develop software primarily for Linux-based environments using approved programming and scripting languages.
  • Build and maintain containerized applications and services using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or comparable technologies.
  • Develop health and status, telemetry, monitoring, alerting, logging, and audit capabilities for software services and supporting platform components.
  • Develop automation for software deployment, configuration, validation, health checks, service recovery, patching, and sustainment activities.
  • Translate system and program requirements into implementable software requirements, user stories, interface definitions, and verification criteria.
  • Define and implement software interfaces, service boundaries, data exchanges, and integration patterns that support modularity and interoperability.
  • Perform unit, integration, regression, and system-level testing and support defect investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, source-code management, artifact repositories, automated testing, and release management.
  • Produce software design descriptions, interface documentation, test procedures, technical reports, and engineering-review materials.
  • Support software integration in development and systems integration laboratories before transition to operational radar sites.
  • Collaborate with systems, network, hardware, integration, test, and operations personnel to ensure software is deployable, supportable, and compatible with the approved system baseline.
  • Participate in technical reviews, demonstrations, planning sessions, and program status meetings.
  • Support occasional travel to laboratories, integration facilities, and operational sites.
