Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy large-scale web applications and full-stack components using Ruby on Rails and Ruby.

You will design APIs (JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, XML), optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, troubleshoot performance, and integrate GenAI into development workflows while collaborating with business partners, database, systems, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of senior software engineering experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and Ruby.
• 6+ years of experience in API design and interface technologies, including JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, and XML.
• Knowledge of integrating GenAI into development workflows.

• Working knowledge of testing frameworks such as RSpec and MiniTest, CI tools such as CircleCI and Jenkins, and DevOps and AWS infrastructure.
• Expert knowledge of GoLang, Core Java, or similar compiled, high-concurrency, lower-level languages such as Erlang, C++, or Rust.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
