Job description

Our Software Engineer role rewards the results-oriented habit of writing the test before you trust the feature, especially around Vue.js. The proposition holds together — $68,000 - $97,000, 5 years, a WI base, and ownership the rest of the market rarely grants.

Key Responsibilities

• Trace a heads-down-and-happy technology bug across three MySQL services to the one bad line
• Keep Rust schemas backward-compatible so Sustainable Solutions Inc never forces a breaking upgrade
• Translate the design-led Django outage into fixes that make the next Appleton launch dull
• Catch the Django race conditions that only surface under Appleton peak traffic
• Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems

What You'll Bring

• Roughly 3+ years operating in a similar Software Engineer position
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team
• Solid understanding of technology best practices and industry standards
• Cross-functional ease, from Accountability engineers to Project Management marketers
• A bias toward asking the dumb question before the expensive mistake

Run from a single floor in Appleton, WI, Sustainable Solutions Inc is an ego-light reminder that technology breakthroughs still start small. Autonomy here comes with a partner: ask for help the moment you're stuck on Work-Life Balance.

The package speaks for itself: $68,000 - $97,000, coaching, coverage, and the flexible remote hours that unhurried technology pros expect.
