Job summary

Our custom apps for iPhone and Android devices help public safety organizations reach their citizens where they are: their smartphones. We are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer Part-TimeInternto work on-siteat our headquarters in Opelika, Alabama.This role contributes to the daily development queue, assisting with new application builds and ongoing support for hundreds of Android and iOS applications, websites, and related digital products.

What We Require for This Role:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university studying computer science, software engineering, information systems or other related field.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Working knowledge of JSON and command-line tools
• Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
