Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Camarillo, CA seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop real-time embedded software for the EA-18G Growler program. Work is on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center Point Mugu and Camarillo offices.

Role requires collaboration in an Agile scrum and interaction with customers and internal teams. Candidates must hold DoD clearance and citizenship, with strong Ada/C/C++ and OO design skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a STEM field with 2 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field with 1 year of experience.
• Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#.
• Knowledge of object-oriented software development.
• Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.).
• US Citizenship required.
• Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher.

Embedded Software Engineer

Based out of Camarillo, CA. Come join our team and support our EA-18G Growler Program. All software tasking will be performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Northrop Grumman Camarillo, CA office.

Basic Qualifications For Embedded Software Engineer

• Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher

• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills

• Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program

• Electronic Warfare system development and design experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
