Overview

AWS Neuron Software Development Manager role at Annapurna Labs leading the Deep-Learning Compiler team. In this Manager III role, you will lead a team of compiler software engineers in the design and development of a machine learning compiler, drive execution, and mentor your engineers. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on AWS's machine learning infrastructure and bring new products and features to market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of ML compiler solutions for AWS Neuron.
• Drive execution plans, feature development, and optimization techniques.
• Mentor and grow a team of compiler software engineers.
• Lead hardware bring-up of next-generation chips and influence pre-silicon design.
• Collaborate with product management and other teams to deliver impactful ML acceleration features.

Basic Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• Experience partnering with product management
• Strong knowledge of developing and/or managing simulation software
• Solid understanding of compilers (resource management, instruction scheduling, code generation, and compute graph optimization)

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience with and deep learning models and algorithms
• Experience with LLVM, LMIR
• Interactions with open-source communities
