Milliman, Inc. is offering an in-person/hybrid internship in Chicago focused on building a web application using React with a backend in C# and ASP.NET Core.
You will work with REST APIs, collaborate with QA and senior developers, and present progress regularly. The role provides exposure to modern web technologies such as React, C#, and Azure, with opportunities to learn through Lunch & Learn sessions and team collaboration.
This internship role focuses on the development of a web application, offering exposure to C#, asp.net core, REST APIs, React and UI testing framework. Additional opportunities may include working with C/C++ Microsoft Azure, and other modern web technologies. Responsibilities involve designing and implementing features, collaborating with QA and fellow developers, participating in regular team meetings, and presenting progress and findings to the broader team.
This internship is a full‑time seasonal position that requires significant time commitment and is not typically completed at the same time as college coursework. Our interns are available to work during standard business hours (8:30a - 5p, Monday - Friday) and willing to work extended full-time hours (at least 37.5+ hours per week).
Our intern program serves as our talent pipeline for post‑grad hiring, with interns making up the majority of the new hire additions to our team.
Candidates hired into this role will be required to work in‑person in the Milliman office in Chicago, IL on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered.
The salary range for this role is $23 - $46 per hour depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
