Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking an Strategic Student Intern for Spring 2027 in the Product Engineering Software (PES) area. You will work on Designcenter CAD software, focusing on web-based applications and cloud services within a microservice architecture, under agile practices.

The role targets students pursuing a CS degree, with opportunities to learn from senior engineers, gain real-world experience, and potentially receive a full-time offer after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling software is a plus.
• Cloud or AWS experience is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Passionate, driven, and proactive; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify software for Designcenter CAD products.
• Build and support web-based applications and services.
• Develop cloud platform services with a microservice-based architecture.
• Follow Agile software development methodologies and contribute to CI/CD efforts.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to improve the Designcenter CAD software.
