A successful Software Development Engineer joining the team will be an innovator, building solutions and working closely with Amazon's largest and most demanding government customers to address their specific needs across a suite of services in classified environments. They will drive the resolution of technical issues and work diligently to improve the customer experience.
As a Software Development Engineer, you will build innovative solutions, expand services to meet the demands of US government customers, and improve our operations to provide resiliency and the best experience for our customers. You influence technical strategy and architectural decisions within the team and with partner teams, make data‑driven decisions, and bring best practices in operational and engineering excellence by actively contributing to ticket resolution, infrastructure improvements, and service deployments. The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 – $194,400.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance, Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
