Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Amazon Security’s Discovery Insights Foundry (AVMS) seeks a software architect to design and review secure systems at scale within AWS. You will develop features in Java/Python, leverage AWS services, and drive operational excellence across teams.
You’ll partner with security engineers, data engineers, and program managers to deliver trusted, timely vulnerability insights for leadership, while maintaining a high bar for quality and reliability.
You will work at the intersection of software engineering, data analytics, and AI. On a given day, you might build a new visualization component for the leadership dashboard, develop an AI agent that automates a weekly status report, write a data pipeline that merges vulnerability metrics from multiple upstream systems, or design an MCP service that enables other teams to integrate with your reporting platform. You will partner closely with security engineers, data engineers, and program managers across AVMS to ensure leadership has a trusted, unified, and timely view of the organization’s vulnerability posture.
The DIF team operates with a startup mentality inside a large organization. You will have direct impact on the product direction and will see your work in front of senior security leadership. The team values rapid iteration, creative problem-solving, and high-quality engineering.
