Flexe is seeking a Software Engineer in Seattle for a hybrid role, three days in the office weekly. You will architect and implement core systems, collaborate with engineers, and drive large-scale projects from conception to release. The team values growth, reliability, and a healthy culture.

The tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Scala, and Kotlin, with opportunities to use Java, Golang, C#, or Python. Salary ranges from $147,250 to $206,800 plus equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with building systems using SOA or Microservice design patterns.
• Tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Scala and Kotlin; others like Java, Golang, C#, Python are welcome.
• Experience designing reliable cloud-based systems at scale.
• History of team-oriented development and continuous learning.

As a Software Engineer, you will join a product development team and partner with other software engineers who are passionate about solving real-world problems. This is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. Team members are expected to work in-office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with remote work on Monday and Friday.

• Evolve the technology that is at the heart of our business. You are responsible for architecting and implementing systems that impact our customers directly.

• Delivering value from conception to release. You will work directly with customer stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver large-scale technical projects.

Does this sound like you?

• 3+ years of commercial Software Development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with building systems using Service Oriented Architecture or Microservice design patterns.
• Our tech stack is Ruby on Rails, Scala, and Kotlin. However, we will train the right person who has experience in one or more of the following modern languages: Java, Golang, C#, Python, etc.
• Experience with designing reliable cloud-based systems at scale.
• A history of team-oriented development and a drive to continuously learn.

The salary range for this role is $147,250 to $206,800 depending, in part, on candidate location. Recruiting will confirm the specific range for the candidate location in the initial phone screen. All employees receive company equity as part of their compensation package.
