Job summary

Optimum is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer in Bethpage, NY to design, build, and maintain high-impact agent-facing applications. You’ll work on business-critical platforms, ensuring performance, usability, and reliability for internal operations and customer engagement.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers, delivering scalable code and modern solutions across backend and frontend layers in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of software development engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Backend (Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs , gRPC APIs, GraphQL, SQL , Oracle, Spanner).
• Experience with Cloud based Architecture and CloudRun, GKE, Pub/Sub, Redis, Secret Manager, Cloud based Monitoring and Logging.
• Familiar with CI/CD and using Gitlab.
• Familiar with using JIRA and confluence for day to day task tracking and documentation.
• Experience developing responsive, high-performance web applications usage of Splunk/Grafana/ Cloud Monitoring.
• Familiarity with front-end integration with middleware or back-end services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with AI Tools and AI First mindset.
